Volunteering

The Capitol Theatre could not function without the incredible team of over 200 volunteers that give their time and energy to ensure the patrons of the Capitol have the best experience possible.

ARE YOU READY TO …

• Commit time each month to work with your team at the Capitol Theatre no matter what the event?
• Take instruction from your team leader and the house manager?
• Accept any task which you may be asked to perform? (coat check, ushering, programmes, ticket taking, sale of merchandise, etc.)
• Call your team leader if you are not available to work on the scheduled date?
• Dress in the required uniform of the Capitol Volunteers?
• Work on activities other than performances? (mailouts, etc.)

AS A CAPITOL VOLUNTEER, YOU WILL RECEIVE …

• A schedule of performances taking place in the theatre each month, showing your team’s duties.
• A name tag to wear when on duty (kept in your team's envelope in the lobby).
• A chance to enjoy the show free.
• A chance to work with other teams needing extra help.
• An invitation to attend the volunteer’s Spring Brunch Banquet each year.
